Live: The Praise...The Worship

Well, what can I say???? God has allowed Youthful Praise to do it in a way that nobody else could! From the first track to the last you will find yourself in the presence of the Almighty God!

This cd has been a blessing and encouragement to me because when I listen to it, something in my spirit makes me know that I can still talk to God and that He's still with me.

"In Your Favor" featuring Bishop Eric McDaniel, is a prophetic song that is encouraging and timely. At this point this song ministers to me the most.

"Incredible God, Incredible Praise/I feel The Presence" is a reminder of how deserving God is of our best praise, and more, while acknowledging his presence 'in the room'.

The "TFT Medley" is probably the most "thought through" medley of worship songs I've ever heard. It makes me feel like I'm walking around heaven with Jesus and just pouring my heart out to Him. It wil surely bless you with songs like "Holy is the Lord", "You are my Hiding Place" (featuring Javon White), "Great is The Lord" and my favorite "The Lifter of my Head".

"Shift this Place" featuring Jonathan Nelson (who wrote the song as well) is definitely a good description of the power of God's glory and how it can shift the atmosphere if we let it. It also has a reprise featuring Anaysha Figueroa. I love to hear her sing!

"He's Worthy" is a 'remix' from their initial release 'A Call to Worship' which was later re-titled and re-released as AWESOME GOD (if you don't have that one you really need to get it). This song is a feel good song that has a groove that, like 'Shift this Place" makes you want to clap your hands, pat your feet and bob ya' head. I actually wish that they would have sang it a little longer!

"Holy Lamb" featuring Jason Nelson is a ballad that reverences Jesus' sacrifice for us and makes us aware of the magnitude of that sacrifice.

"Praise to the Rock", another feel good song, makes me think of songs we used to do our processionals on for our choir anniversaries. Upbeat, moving.......and the vocals!!!!!!! One of the reasons I love to hear this choir sing is because of their diction. You can understand every word.

"I am your Help", penned by YP's pastor, Bishop J.C. White, with Evangelist Gloria White (who definitely lays on this song!) on lead vocals, is a traditional "jig" song that causes us to remember where we came from and to not forget our gospel roots.

"The Blood" makes you stop and think of how powerufl the blood of Jesus is! When I could understand the word 'pestilence' in this song, I was like, WOW! You don't ordinarily find words like that in gospel music, AMEN? "He Reigns" is just on a different level! When they say "our God reigns, on the throne in heaven, clothed with glory and majesty...", it's almost like you can see it! You HAVE to move when you hear this one. And last but not least

"You are So Awesome". Whew! You really don't want this song to end. You'll find yourself enjoying this one for sure! You'll want to jump.

The music, the vocals, the writing and everthing else on this project is absolutely phenomenal! It's strong, has a great variety and is most of all, ANOINTED!

I have to say to Min. James "JJ" Hairston, I can see through this project that you have definitely been walking with God. You've allowed that to show in your writing and I am glad that you have been blessed to be allowed to share it with the masses!

And to YP, keep letting God allow your voices to do what they do on this project, because I can truly hear God in them! Continue to let God use you because this is real gospel music. NO MESS, NO FRILLS. It's the TRUTH!

Here they go again with another slammin' project. They went a slightly different route in the first half of the cd. With songs like "You Are So Awesome" and "The Presence" they went true praise and worship style. I actually got a little nervous because although they sounded wonderful, it wasn't that wonderful Youthful Praise sound that I was used to hearing...I was holding my breath to be sure that they hadn't totally changed their sound. By track 6, I was relieved to find out that they just did a few different things music-wise. The huge sound was still there! My fav's from this cd are: "You Are So Awesome", "He's Worthy", "Shift This Place", "TFT Medley", and "I Am Your Help" (they let their first lady sing on this one...yall remember Institutional COGIC, right???) Get the project. You'll love it.

THERE IS AN ANOINTING ON THIS CD. IF YOU LIKE THIS CD YOU SHOULD ALSO GET YOUTH FOR CHRIST CD. YOU'LL BE BLESSED LISTENING TO BOTH THESE CD'S. MY FAVORITES ON THIS CD WAS "INCREDIBLE GOD, INCREDIBLE PRAISE," "THE PRESENCE," "OH HOLY LAMB," "GREAT IS OUR GOD,""IN YOUR FAVOR." THE WHOLE CD WAS MORE THAN A 5 IT WAS A 10. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK YOUTHFUL PRAISE.

At first I was not a major fan of youthful praise because I never really fell in love with their music, even though I did like a couple of songs they did. However, this album gives me a different view of these gifted young singers. The album is good from the beginning until the end. I could not find one bad song on the album. The best most stood out song on the album has to be Incredible God, Incredible Praise. I listen the this song atleast once a day because our God truly deserves Incredible Praise. This Cd Has songs for the old as well as the new. You will not be dissappointed in this album because the music on here will be a bleesing in your life. Keep up the good work youthful praise and let God continue to use you.

I bought this CD specifically for the song "Incredible God,Incredible Praise" and fell in love with the entire album.

YOUTHFUL PRAISE HAS ONCE AGAIN PROVED TO BE A DOMINANT FORCE IN THE GOSPEL INDUSTRY! THE CD IS FILLED WITH SO MANY INSPIRATIONAL SONGS, INCREDIBLE CHOIR HARMONY, AMAZING SOLOIST, AND SLAMMING MUSIC. THEY HAVE GROWN AND GOTTEN SO MUCH BETTER SINCE THE VERY UPLIFTING "AWESOME GOD" DEBUT ALBUM

THIS CD IS NOTHING BUT GOOD. I HAVE NEVER BOUGHT A CD BY THEM AND WHEN I SAW THIS I HAD TO BUY IT. I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS CD FOR A LOOOOOOOOOONG TIME AND NOW THAT I HAVE IT,IT IS NOTHING BUT AMAZING. JJ IS AN AWESOME SONG WRITER. I LOVE THIS CD. MY FAVOIRTE SONG IS "TFT MEDLY" AND "OH HOLY LAMB". THIS CHOIR IS NOTHING BUT AMAZING. IF YOU WANT SOME PRAISE AND WORSHIP IN YOUR LIFE THEN YOU NEED TO GET THIS CD. THIS CD IS AWESOME.

This is an absolutely beautiful CD. I love every song especially "the lifter" and "the presence." If anyone is in a choir or praise team or if you just enjoy's gospel music, you should pick up this CD!!!!!

This is an excellent cd. It is so inspiring. I listen to it on my way to and from church and it really blesses my spirit. My favorite song is Incredible God, Incredible praise but the whole cd is awesome. If you want to be truly blessed, you should buy this cd.

I absolutely love this CD. I am already wearing it out. Every home should have a copy.
