Thank you very many...these Finnish cosmonauts are one of the best live gigs you can listen to in Europe... Live in Prowinzz is definitely one of the craziest live recordings...but not their best... Shame that THE TOTAL BALALAIKA SHOW recorded live in Helsinki, Finland in 1993 together with the Alexandrov Army Ensemble is not available here...shame on you, Amazon...now that is worth 6 stars... But anyway, the track THOSE WERE THE DAYS contained on LIVE IN PROWINZZ alone is worth the bucks...

An absolutely fabulous cd. After seeing them perform this cd became alive. They are really as nuts as the recordings sound. The worst Rock and roll band in the world????? I can't wait to hear a good one. Play this cd in your car and you start looking for traffic jams.

Kinda partial to "Happy Together" as far as their albums go, but this one has some great tunes on it... The Red Russian Army singing "Proud Mary" is hard to pass up, and "Fat Bob Dollop" rocks.

Leningrad cowboys are an American rock and roll band from Brooklyn (sort of . . .) and this is an esential must have for every fan. Their version of back in the USSR is the best I've heared since the Beatles did it. Next best thing to seeing them live is to buy this cd. So pour your self a vodka and kick back and enjoy some 100% pure American rock and roll . . .

This is not their best album, yet for a live show it is great, since they don't come to America. They are fun to listen to and do a pretty good job of a few covers "Back in the USSR" and "L.A. Woman" are just two examples. Though for as much fun as they are to listen to they are a good band with talent. And if you really wanna get a lot of their jokes then see their fist movie Leningrad Cowboys Do America.
