Karen Akers is a wonderful singer and the selections on this disc are terrific. From Piaf's "Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien" to a heartbreaking song entitled "My Brother Lived In San Francisco" this album is a perfect introduction to anyone wanting a reprieve from the cacophony that is called music today. This album will inspire people to seek out cabaret singers in nightclubs and hear the beauty of a single voice.
