This CD recording is just like being at a Ronnie Milsap concert. The CD opens with the exciting introduction from the band and then the song "Dont You Know How Much I Love You". You almost feel like you are there! Milsap cruises through his hits which include his spectacular "Hits Medley" which he gets a huge applause. Also included is the 1977 song "The Future Is Not What It Used to Be" which is an album cut from one of his older albums. Milsap's producer also introduces the crowd to a new classy song called "My Babe" which is a jazzy number with a full horn section and stand-up bass which is outstanding! Of course this CD wouldnt be complete without "Smokey Mountain Rain" and "Stranger In My House" in which Milsap extends. The "Piano Man Medley" is simply superb! Ronnie simply rocks the house! Ronnie closes the show with "America, the Beautiful". This CD is a preview of whats to come with the release of the DVD coming this fall. After listening to this CD it is very understandable why Ronnie won the 2002 Pioneer award from the Academy of Country Music.

Taped Live in Biloxi in January, 2002, this state of the art project by Ronnie Milsap features his best hits as well as new material. His vocals are as powerful as ever as he carries the listener on a trip down memory lane to the present. The "salute to piano men" medley is terrific and the jazzy spin he's put on songs old and new is exciting. This album is a must-have for any Ronnie fan as well as a great introduction to his music if you are a new listener.

This "Live" revives memories of the early Milsap of the first "Live" and "20-20 Vision." Incidentally, when will those CMA albums of the year become available on CD? It's been too long, and this "Live" is a treasure.

Live Ronnie Milsap is an inspiration because of his life story. The great music he has made over the years shows his incredible talent and will remain popular as long as people have ears to listen!

Another fine live effort from a 70's and 80's country icon. A few nice medleys and some fine live renditions. Sure to please any country fan seeking a nice live recording, but certain to thrill any Milsap fan.

I have purchased the DVD and CD combo of MILSAP LIVE. This is a Quaility collection and MILSAP at his very best. Hope you all like it too!

Ronnie Milsap is truly an inspiration to me. I'm 15 years old in the year 2003 and up until about 2 months ago, I couldn't have told you the difference between Ronnie Milsap and a small mechanical part on a lawn mower. I recently saw Ronnie in the first cut concert he has put on in 10 years. I thought to myself, great I get to spend an evening in a Casino, watching a man play around on a piano, whom I'd never heard of before. The second I saw Ronnie Milsap walk around the stage getting ready for his performance, I knew this was going to be an awesome night! I recommend Ronnie Milsap to anyone who can listen to anything. This man is truly an inspiration to me and everyone who accompanied me on my trip.
