5.0 out of 5 stars All Killer, No Filler November 10, 2009
By Kenneth
Format:Audio CD
In a live setting, The Killers really take their music to the next level! I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the DVD or the CD. Everything, from the music, to the video quality (and even the packaging) is perfect. Brandon's vocals are clear, with a wide and incredible range. Dave's guitar comes in at all the right moments. Mark Stoermer's bass playing is some of the best that I've seen in a really long time! And of course, there's Ronnie's drums that tie everything all together. The band really feeds off the crowd, and you can tell there's no other place the crowd would rather be. These boys can really put on a good show! Just as I was losing faith in modern music, The Killers came along and turned everything around for me. This live DVD is long overdue

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing atmosphere and energy. The Killers deliver. November 5, 2009
By mike
Format:Blu-ray|Amazon Verified Purchase
This doesn't get released till November 10th, 2009. But, I just saw it in theaters (it was in very select theaters on Nov. 5, 8pm). It's every bit as good as I hoped it would be. I was lucky enough to be near a theater that played this just a few hours ago, there were only 8 in the whole state of California that was playing this. Visuals were amazing, and the sound was superb. It's not easy to fill a place like Royal Albert Hall with as much intensity, energy and passion as the Killers have done. The stage was attractive and familiar if you've been to a Killers show. The shots were well filmed and the sound capture was good as well. I can't wait to get this and play the **** of my surround system.

Update:
Received it in the mail the day the DVD/Bluray was released. Way to go Amazon!
My rating of 5/5 remains unchanged. This release is every bit deserving of 5 stars. I know it isn't clear on the Amazon page, but the Blu-ray version does NOT come with a CD. The DVD version does. However, that is more of Amazon's fault for not listing correctly, so I disagree with the reviewers who let this affect their review of the Bluray. Product reviews should pertain only to the product, IMO.

This Blu-ray is great because the concert itself was great. The Killers are probably one of the best live bands in the world today. This movie release brings the Killers concert experience into the home very, very well. The energy from the band is amazing and Brandon Flowers is left gasping for air at some points.

Just buy it, you will not regret it.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Killers: One Of The Best Bands Today- Captured Live November 10, 2009
Format:Audio CD|Amazon Verified Purchase
"The Killers: Live at the Royal Albert Hall" showcases the band's incredible skill, as musicians, and as performers.

All of the great songs from all of The Killers albums (Hot Fuss, Sam's Town, Sawdust, and Day & Age) are on this DVD.

Each and every song keeps you on the edge of your seat, wanting more. When I watched the concert, the time flew by very quickly. The performance did not drag on at all. The flow from one song to the next was seamless.

The audio mixing is done incredibly well; the vocals and the instruments are clear and present at the front, but you still feel the warmth of the live setting.

I saw The Killers live for the first time on the Day & Age Tour back in January, and what struck me the most about their concert was how much it felt like an experience! It was more than just a concert, or a collection of songs.

The Killers accomplished this same feat at The Royal Albert Hall

If you are a Killers fan, or if you're even just a fan of good rock n' roll music, this package is definitely for you. Don't hesitate to check it out!

Your Favorite Killers Song Live?
"All These Things That I've Done," the live version they did at Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa back in 2005. Amazing. Words cannot describe that version, except that the entire capacity crowd jumped up and down, bending the historic venue's floor of wood beams. Wonderful.

The Killers Live at Royal Albert Hall CD/DVD
I bought the Live at the Royal Albert film off of iTunes last week, and I also saw it when it was in theaters last Thursday. You don't need to worry about the movie being a big singalong. The audio is very well mixed! The band's music, and Brandon's vocals, are clear and forward at the front.... Read more
