It's about time we had access to a true live album on cd by these guys. I have been an ARS fan since the days of A Rock And Roll Alternative and this is one great disc. I highly recommend picking it up. The only non-original member on the disc is the drummer Roy Yeager. Now, could Polydor PLEASE release Are You Ready! and Underdog on cd? Haven't we waited long enough?

Well, it is not as good as "Are You Ready", but what is? Sound quality is excellent. Performance is excellent with a few exceptions, but thats why I like live albums. Very nostalgic. It takes me back to the carefree days of the late 70's and early 80's. I strongly recomend to original ARS fans like me.

Good Gosh...what does it take to get Are You Ready re-released on CD? Everybody that has a copy on vinyl, myself included, would buy it in a heartbeat. It is without a doubt the best live album ever recorded as far as I am concerned.

You'll probably enjoy Live at the Savoy; it's a pretty good ARS album. But to echo the previous reviewers, you need to hear the live ARS record 'ARE YOU READY', a double-live album released on vinyl in the early eighties. It's an excellent audio snapshot of the band in it's prime, and it's my favorite live album of all time. I can't imagine why it hasn't been released on CD, it's a shame and a sin.

I like this Atlanta Rythim Section album. Ronnie Hammond is an excellent singer. The best tunes I think are "Homesick" and "Imaginery lover". The live performance sounds much better than the studio one. I'd like to realy recommend this album.

This is a gem, an actual recorded concert not a compilation of live recordings. There is nothing better than an actual concert recording, it captures the essence of the night. Are You Ready is a fantastic live album, ARS can jam with the best of them. The only issue with Are You Ready, I have, is the fade in & out between songs, a reminder that it is not a true concert we are listening to. Like Skynyrd's One More From The Road it should have been editted to duplicate an actual real concert.

I do own Are You Ready and have the software to record from vinyl to my laptop, have to live with snap, crackle, pops and a few skips but adds to the nostalgia of the times. Now I jam to it on an Ipod.

Pheonix also released an early Molly Hatchet concert, prior to Flirtin With Disaster. A must for all southern rock fans.

I will start by saying this is a very good live album! Mastering is great. BUT it is not on the same planet as ARE YOU READY.I can not believe the record companys will try to sell us a zillion greatest hits cds. But will not release ARE YOU READY !They could sell more copys of this live cd, then all of the Bullsh** hit cd !!!!!

i have looked everywhere for this cd. i have the album but it is in baaaaad shape. who makes these decisions on these re releases? anyone with any pull reading this, believe me, ARE YOU READY will sell like a sumbitch.

I have really enjoyed this cd, being a longtime ARS fan.
Really good stuff. But, I want to echo the sentiments of
probably most ARS fans in pleading with some wise souls
in the business to put out ARE YOU READY on cd.
