This appears to be a very rare Roger McGuinn album and if that is so, many fans are missing out.

Live From Spain is a massive hit from My Back Pages all the way through to track 21, Knockin' On Heaven's Door.

There are not only Bob Dylan writes, others were from Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger and Ledbelly.

The remainder are Roger's songs or co writes with his wife Camilla or other Byrds.

Roger performs solo with either acoustic or electric guitar.

Songs I had not heard before are On Easter Morn He Rose, May The Road Rise To Meet You and On And On.

A Rickenbacker has never been in better hands and the whole album confirms that.

Roger is relaxed and clearly enjoying the concert, apparently his first in Spain for 20 years.

To my ears Live From Spain totally outshines Live From Mars from the 1990s, Byrds fans should track down a copy one way or another !

On this cd Roger McGuinn gives one of his best live performances.He plays most of his hits with the Byrds as well as his own

Songs including some new ones.If you like Roger McGuinn you will really like this album.

Best McGuinn record in years - and that is saying a lot for this old master. Great performance and great recording. Buy it while you can.

McGuinn manages to make this cd stand out by extending his admittedly limited vocal range on some songs. Had never heard his live version of 5D before. The overall sound on Live from Spain is very good.
