Screwed up, August 15, 2011

Before i get cursed, insulted or something worse, i must say Dissection is my favorite band, and I believe this show is just the best live performance ever. So why the poor rating you may ask? I got the DVD Rebirth of Dissection log before this CD, it was just so great that I wanted a regular Audio CD to listen without a dvd player and tv, but it seems the guys in charge of this release intentionally screwed it. The first track is supposed to be At the Fathomless Dephts, which is the intro from Storm of the Light's Bane album, IT IS IN THE DVD, but here we have Night's Blood INCOMPLETE and cut in half WHAT THE HELL? Later they removed Maha Kali (you could forgive this one since there are a lot of "purists" who dont like their third album, but I love it), No dreams breed in breathless sleep (which blends beautifully whit Where the dead angels lie in the DVD) and Elizabeth Bathori (this one is just a crime). This CD is just a crippled version of an otherwise AWESOME show. If you are in doubt between this and the dvd, GO AND GET THE DVD, the DTS sound and the FULL set are worth it, plus the dvd has hidden tracks of a pair of songs that did not make it in the final cut.
I you are buying this just because a compulsive need to have all their albums you have been warned.
