Great Overview Of The Band,
By
This review is from: Live Struggle for Life (Audio CD)
This is a sprawling 2 CD live album that has just about everything you could possibly want from this band. If you only purchase one After Crying disc, this should be it. The disc also features a guest appearance by John Wetton singing the King Crimson classic "Starless". The album features material from all of their studio albums with disc one being particularly impressive. The music ranges from grand symphonic epics, to neo classical orchestrations, to flirtations with pop. The music on this disc is outstanding with plenty of moments for all of the band members to shine on their respective instruments. The album even features a tribute to Frank Zappa and a 30 minute version of "Conclusion" which is a tribute to Keith Emerson. This is another one I have not listened to in a long time and I really enjoyed pulling it back out.

This is a recopilation of some themes from "struggle for life" double cd of this band from Hungria. They have influences both from King Crimson and classical music (featurin John Wetton performing Starless) and a short "Frank Zappa Hommage". In my opinion, this is one of biggest band in the Prog. scene, compared whit giants like The flower kings , Transatlantic or Spock's Beard... the first time you hear teir music it can be difficult to "understand" it, but if you relax, kick your shoes off and taste some good wine you can really enjoy it and let your mind fly away, so you can visit places that you only can go in dreams... sit down and enjoy this beatifull music.
