This review is from: Live and in the Studio (Audio CD)
Jimmy Cliff crossed more then rivers he crossed oceans. themes and spiritualism and social awareness surfaced throughout the material on the best of Jimmy Cliffs/live and in the studio.. when it was released in 1975 on blackwell's new uk-based reggea boutique label trojan records throughout the world and A&M records in the U.S. The project reunited Cliff with Leslie Kong, whose production skills were well-honed.From the beginning Kong liked to focus on establishing his artists outside of Jamaica and soon the two brightest in his stable - Cliff and Toots and the maytals were poised to do so. Live and in the studio...contained many gems, especially the eponymous song "peace".
