i enjoy listening to live recordings of blondie, especially covering their early material. i'm still looking for a really cookin' version of One Way or Another i heard a few decades ago. although this is a good live recording, it almost seems like an audience recording. i feel twice removed from the event, if that makes sense. the whole sound seems to be miked in the audience and not from the soundboard. it sounds good, but could have used some remixing to bring the vocals "closer" to the front. from the liner notes, this was the last live performance before they broke up for awhile. the songs are good, but not as edgy or hard-rockin' as they have been in the past. maybe it's the maturity of the group, but they certainly have a polished show. good selection of songs. i would recommend this recording if your a blondie fan.

Even when she's bad, she's good. This footage may not be the best of the best, but worthwhile for any collection. I saw this when it originally aired, loved it then, love it now!
