If you haven't already figured out from one of their studio albums, Kaizers Orchestra are some of the baddest dudes out there today. If you want to talk about making catchy, rockin music, but really well written stuff, these guys are where it's at. Their sense of dynamics, rhythm and their very musical use of dissonance are unmatched in "pop" music. This is popular music after all. But damn if I've heard a band since the beatles that was so catchy and so sophisticated at the same time. That being said for their studio stuff, the live experience brings the energy to an entirely new level. These guys RIP! Incredible live chemistry! Strangely they are gods in northern Europe and unheard of elsewhere. People need to wise up and listen to one of the best bands in the world(if not the best). So grab this dvd! Once it's sold, you will be too! Warning for those of you in the US, this is a regionII(III?) dvd, the european one, whichever it is. So, you will need a pioneer dvd player which even when purchased in the US has no regional code built into it, allowing you to watch dvd's from all over the world!!!! Hooray!!!! So don't be lazy and slothful, buy Kaizers, bring them to America so we can hear the gospel too!

I stumbled over Kaizers Orchestra a long time ago. I was completely hooked after hearing Bak et Hallelujah just once. A few years back, I bought this album more or less on a whim, and I still consider it one of the best purchases I've ever made. The songs are great without even having to understand the lyrics, but once I learned the meanings behind some of the songs, they only became more profound.
If you like Kaizers Orchestra even a little, just buy this. Quickly.
