this is a great video!
Great performance of John Abercrobie's quartet featuring Mike Brecker from 1985. Burning solos all around, and great up-close intimacy at the Vanguard. I love it. Please release more Michael Brecker videos. thanks!

Live at the Vanguard.
Sound quality decent on this DVD, I was looking forward to a Michael Brecker show but it turns out that is John Abercrombie's band featuring Brecker. Although there are plenty of smoking shots (Closeups) of Brecker soloing, the material at hand is O.K. I would recomend it to listeners of Pat Metheny, only because of it's program. Nonetheless, one of the better DVDs with...
