Wow! Was I surprised to see this CD on amazon.com! Two of my friends bought it from inport shops when they were in Europe. (I had nearly given up on finding it---and here it is!) In my opinion this CD contains THE BEST versions on record of DON'T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER, DRIVING HARD and BACKSTABBER! (The studio versions are good, but the live CD has a lot more energy and shows how TOTALLY HEAVY this band was!) The CD says that only 1,100 copies were made! So, in other words, buy it while you have the chance!

...However, I am here to review THE MUSIC and not AMAZON'S pricing policies, that is why I gave this 5 stars.

A lot of bands re-record their so-called live albums in the studio. This, however, isn't that kind of album. It is a REAL live recording, which is cool. If you ever were curious if the two lead guitarists really could play those awesome harmonies live, this CD proves that they could. Also there is a song (Dont Waste Your Love) that isn't on any other Hellion album Ive been able to find. Only 1100 were made and this CD is hard to find, which is probably why Amazon is selling it for such a rediculess price. If you are into 80s power metal, all I can say is that you may want to sho around, but, you should get it while you can!

I thought that this CD probably would be OK but not all that great because it was live and from the band's early line-up! (Don't get me wrong! I love old Hellion! But, some of the old recordings weren't "high quality.") The first songs starts off a little rough, but, by the second or third song this thing really kicks butt! Also, the CD booklet doesn't mention this on the outside but this also include UP FROM THE DEPTHS! There are a lot of surprises! For example on RUN FOR YOUR LIFE there are harmony guitar parts that never made it to the bands' albums. Definately recommended!
