I first heard Lincoln Brewster at Alive 2001, when I heard him for Praise and Worship he was just awesome. His music is really powerful and has alot of meaning in the lyrics. I would recommend this Cd to any Christian who truly wants to deepen their faith or just loves to Praise the Lord. It is amazing how God can speak to our heart through just a simple chourus. If you never felt that before then you are missing the Lord in your life and you really need him in your life. This CD is worth at least 5 stars if not more. Jesus, Loves You!!!!

Awesome Passion,

Lincoln Brewster presents a deep passion for worship in this great CD. His guitar work is, as always, above expectation - but this "live to worship" album has a much deeper side to it's music. It is pure, passionate, and worshipful. I can't get enough of it. Great Stuff!

More talent with a guitar than most bands today & christian,

I just saw Lincoln recently at Gatlinburg, TN for the second year in a row and he rocked both years. You listen to his music and you know what he is talkin about because its not suggestive, its straight up. This guy also can play the guitar like a madman (while in Gatliburg, his band wasn't ready to come out, so he came out by himself with an ACOUSTIC guitar and played Let the Praises Ring, even the solo). Every song on this CD is awesome, so do urself a favor and buy it and hence the title, LIVE TO WORSHIP

Brewster did a great job on this album. He is famous for his outragous guitar solos, which was apparent on his earlier album. On this one though, he gets focused, and does straight out worship. He has taken a few giant christian songs and interpreted them and made them even bigger than they were before. "Lord i lift your name on high" and "Shout to the Lord" are unbelieveable examples of this. The spin and power that he has added to tracks like these are wonderful. His original tracks are also just as melodious and heartfelt. This album is a mini-worship session in itself. The entire cd is powerful and uplifting. It's diverse in the sense that it does get loud and powerful, but also softer and initmate. Not a single bad track on this cd, but many truly great ones. This is truly his best and most honest work yet. Any christian will absolutely love this album. For it's honesty, passion and the heart of worship that is the core of this offering.

It blew me away!,

I first read the name Lincoln Brewster in the liner notes of Steve Perry's last solo cd, as both co-writer and guitarist. I decided that anyone Steve Perry would write and record with deserved a listen. I heard his name mentioned when our local Christian station played "Take Me Higher" last week. I listened excitedly and was blown away. The song is very powerful, not only lyrically, but musically as well. It has a real U2 kind of feel to it and it just draws you in. I bought the cd on Tuesday when it came out and the rest of it I found equally as powerful. The music has a very acoustic feel to it and it has a groove that just grabs hold and won't let go. The vocals exude an intense emotion that leaves absolutely no doubt that he is truly passionate about his subject matter. The lyrics that Brewster wrote are all based on Bible verses, which he includes next his name under the song titles. I think that makes them all the more powerful and their meaning all the more unmistakable. I recommend this cd to anyone. It is extraordinary and I hope we hear much more from him in years to come. I look forward to it.

Don't Buy This If You Don't Like Great Music,

Just bought this album and it is awesome. I got interested in Lincoln's music when I saw him open for Third Day this year, and he is a truly gifted guitarist.Every track is great, but favorites would have to be Shout to the Lord, Secret Place, and an excellent instrumental version of Amazing Grace. I highly recommend this album to anyone who wants to worship with great music.

Former guitar player with Steve Perry (Journey) and recently coming off tour with Michael W. Smith - Lincoln Brewster has hit a home run! The songs on this cd drive you to celebrate the awesome love of God. The tight harmonies and intricate arrangements make this a must have for the serious worshipping musician's collection. The only bad thing I can say about this project is that I wish it were a double record set!

Refreshing. Beautiful Worship & Praise!,

I loved the first album track "You Alone" and the rest of the album just ignited the flame! This is a great praise and worship album, with awesome instrumentation arrangements especially Linc's vocals and guitar skills, you know it's God sent. Praise be to God for this album! My son is hooked and so am I. It's always a blessing to be blessed with an album that gives all glory and honor to the Father in such a creative, passionate and radically beautiful way. You hear Switchfoot, RelientK, etc... but in all honesty, we need more brothers like Lincoln who keeps it God focused and doesn't dilly dally with the worldly mess.

Talk about a heartfelt, deeply emotional, and praiseworthy CD. This is the ultimate praise and worship CD. I always talk big of Lincoln (because he is a great musician and I admire him)and this CD is just an addition to his excellent debut CD. This Cd contains several original songs from Lincoln as well as a few songs that I think you will recognize (except Lincoln puts his own little twist on them and they are awesome). Buy this Cd to add to your collection and you will not be disappointed.
