Spiritual lecturer, writer, and self-described pleasure seeker Cole-Whittaker (What You Think of Me Is None of My Business) draws on Eastern and Western religious traditions, as well as New Thought prosperity principles and Hermetic philosophy, to present a message of abundant happiness. All that's needed is to realize that everything and everyone is already perfect. Easier said than done, perhaps? Cole-Whittaker's concepts come to life with parables, contemplation exercises, empowering mantras, and simple yet insightful metaphors. Thoughts, deeds, and actions are often compared to seeds that offer better yield when tended in a positive way. Negativity is presented as bad computer programming worth removing. Since humans are inherently perfect, recognizing that perfect state requires letting go of such toxic emotions as greed or envy. Living your bliss has practical use in overcoming career, relationship, and health difficulties. Philosophically, there's certainly room for debate (if everyone is perfect, why does crime exist?), and the author's call to research the health benefits of colloidal silver are questionable. While many readers won't accept all of Cole-Whittaker's conclusions, the exuberance of her writing is contagious. (Jan.)

Terry Cole-Whittaker has written a marvelous book that provides us with a fast-track to ultimate success of living the life we love. While "success" means something unique and different for each of us, we can benefit tremendously from taking the simple steps forward she describes in LIVE YOUR BLISS. One such step seems obvious once stated, yet few people actually do it: to associate with the most loving, intelligent, enlightened people possible. There really is a huge positive boost from just being in the vicinity of greatness, and such association can go a long way to helping us recondition our internal maps of what is possible for ourselves.

Other welcome advice from Cole-Whittaker is to just do the things you long to do that you love so much. Make steps forward immediately to be the person you wish to be, doing what you love. Yes, this sounds ridiculously simple and obvious, but once again, so many people allow all manner of obstacles, real or imagined, to block their way forward to living the life of their dreams.

LIVE YOUR BLISS is an excellent first book for anyone interested in opening their eyes to a whole new world of spirituality, connection to animals, intuition, and a feeling of having lived other lives in the past. This is an excellent introductory book of spirituality and self discovery for anyone beginning a path of living a meaningful life.

I think this book is the best thing Terry Cole-Whittaker has ever written. I have read all her books - but this book is really my favorite! I just had to tell you how fabulous I think it is.

I expected this to be a book that I would understand, but the thing I really liked about this book is that the explanations and stories are presented in such a way that EVERYONE can understand these spiritual truths. This is a book that anyone can pick up and enjoy, starting from the very first page.

Another thing I have noticed about this book is that it is not one you just read and then put on your bookshelf. This is a book to be read over and over (you find more pearls of wisdom that way) and is filled with quotes and affirmations you can use in your daily life. Topics covered include not just spirituality, but also abundance, health and relationships. The book starts with the phrase "Everyone wants to be happy" and then is filled with ways to find that happiness in your own life.

Every step of our lives leads us fulfillment on so many levels. I for one am very grateful to have Terry Cole Whittaker in my life for many decades now. Her evolution through each stage of her life has been a path that we may chose to follow. Great attention should be paid to her journey as it may, if you read carefully enough, be inspirational for you to transcend and create a journey far more than one might expect from a book.I offer this review for you to think on the possibilities. We all need to be grateful for the opportunity to continue our own personal journey through the wisdom of so fine a teacher.
