Brilliant!,

This was the first time I've heard the Scared Weird Little Guys, but I loved their brilliant Australian humor and great music from the first track. I simply can't stop laughing, even after playing the CD a hundred times.

I first saw this duo at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival several years back--one of those night when I didn't want to run cross town and had only one more performance I could attend for the night. After ticking all the must sees in the local festival guide, I settled on the SWLG because I was right across the street. What a great confluence of cosmic forces! It was a great show, and I enjoyed the cd I purchased afterwards for a long time. Awhile back i came across this cd online, plopped down some virtual money to send downunder, and was thrilled when the cd arrived because it was as funny as their live show. I'm sure about 4 minutes of an internet search will turn up some dealer in the world who is hawking this disc. If I were you, I'd be searching now and not worrying about finishing this review.

Amazing Live Comedy Music from Down Under,

I didn't think the Scaredies could top their studio CD, "Scared." But they did it with this hilarious live CD recorded in their home country of Australia. My faves include "Deadly Animals" (the chorus goes, "Come to Australia; you might accidentally get killed!") and "Alternating Song," which features the guys, John and Rusty, each singing alternating words of the song (much funnier than I'm making it sound.) They also do one song where they sing the phone book (the song consists of an alphabetical list of last names, which they sing faster and faster until you think they might explode; again, funnier than it sounds). If you like funny music, this is a must-have (after you've bought every "Weird Al" CD of course!) Superb!
