Superb live LP from one of Texas' finest young stars,

It's hard to imagine music this mature coming from someone as young as Ingram, but the proof is in the grooves. Ingram's crack road band plays their hearts out for a hometown audience, mixing up originals and covers in a seamless blend. From Ingram's opening road song, "Attitude & Driving" through covers of Harlan Howard's "I'll Catch You When You Fall", Tom Waits' "Hang Down Your Head," and a rock 'n' rollin' "Make My Heart Flutter," there's nary a false step. Ingram's vocals are those of a veteran born into a 20-something's body, and his band shows the coherency and seasoning of endless nights on the road. If you can't catch Ingram in his home state (with a cold Shiner Bock in hand), this is a good substitute.

I've been a Jack Ingram fan before he ever came out with an album. This is my favorite. If you already know Jack's music, pick this one up. The songs are very spirited and perfect for driving or just hanging out. Attawaytogo.
