If you are a Slade fan you gotta have this album in your collection. Even though most of the songs are old regulars off other albums the fact that they are live in the studio gives them an edge. One of my favorites is "Let the Good Times Roll". It sounds so raw. I'm from the states and wish we heard these versions over here when they came out. Rock on Slade. ReUnion Tour!!! LOL

Fantastic look at Slade from 1969 to 1972. For devoted Slade fans, this is not merely a compilation CD but entirely unreleased recordings. Disc One has twenty live performances recorded at the studios of BBC radio. The musicianship of Slade shines through with new twists on familiar songs. They also perform several cover versions in their unique style. There are plenty of rockers here with a good dose of variety as well to make it a great listen. Disc Two is a live show at BBC radio reminiscent of the Slade Alive album. Live versions of Look Wot You Dun and Cuz I Luv You are a special treat for those only familiar with the singles versions. Rock n rollers like Mama Weer All Crazee Now and Get Down and Get With It prove once again that Slade is the best live band ever.

Received this in a very short time from the UK. Fantastic album (if you're a fan) that captures Slade on the cusp of fame.

Excellent selection of tracks, including many previously unreleased recordings. However, the first set of recordings has annoying voiceovers on the introduction to a lot of the songs. This takes away a lot of the pleasure. Surely they could have found the original recordings without the voiceovers????
