5.0 out of 5 stars very thoughtful music, March 26, 2001

ever since I marched with billy milano in the sixtys against intolerence toward gays at bigoted music halls I've always known him to be a passionate warm myn. With great poem and verse he sculpts word pictures like a great work of art by john maplethorpe or tim mcviegh. This great tower of virtue and fortitude has done more to eradicate racism and sexism than any Gloria Steinam, Sinead O'conner or Martin Luther King jr. If he could only take time out of his busy schedule feeding needy malnourished children in ethiopia to further the cause of world peace, this world would have been utopia by now. If he's not honoring the great thinkers of the century like jim morrison, phil hartman, or jim gordon, he works his humble job at the zoo nursing sickly bears back to health. This music will be played for centuries by its musical value alone; but the message that mr milano wrote is eternal. God bless them for honesty and love

5.0 out of 5 stars Metal At It's Best, March 7, 2001

How can you go wrong with SOD? Scott Ian's guitar sound is worth buying this album. I thought it was funny to hear them throw in some Slayer (Reign In Blood) in the middle of "Speak English Or Die." This CD has to be included in any catalogue of a serious metal head. Awesome drumming from Charlie and death bass from Dan. You should see the video of this too. Moshing at it's very best.

5.0 out of 5 stars From the founders of speed mosh heavy metal, live in NYC, March 24, 1999

This is a top notch album with a few surprises. SOD (storm troopers of death) is a classic speed heavy metal band with members of Anthrax and Nuclear Assualt. They defined and pioneered hardcore speed metal. This album is recorded live at the Ritz. It has a special tribute to Nirvana as well as other TOP TOP TOP songs.

This complements their studio album:

SPEAK ENGLISH OR DIE !!!!
