Another Winner,

This review is from: Live at CedarHouse (Audio CD)
Cosy Sheridan is one of the best undiscovered singer/songwriters around. While this CD contains mostly live performances of previous material it captures the joy and seriousiness of the artist. The "band" is a plus. With addtional vocals and accents that helps drive the points home.
There are a lot of high points, one is the lead up to "Grand Design" where she manages to tie together almost every childhood story she every heard. "My Mother's House" contains imagery that every can relate to. This is a full concert. If you've never seen her live at least now you can hear what you are missing.

Unforgettably Brilliant,

This review is from: Live at CedarHouse (Audio CD)
Cosy Sheridan's "Live at Cedarhouse" is a joy to experience on many levels, from her poignant verses, guitar playing, and her vocals - all first rate. I dare anyone to not get at least a little choked up listening to "George and His 88 Keys" or "The Land of 10,000 Mothers." Her songs really hit a lot of nerves. They feel good.
Between cuts we hear the stories behind the songs and the interaction with their audience so it feels like you're actually attending the performance, and also brings you closer to the music and the band, with humor and remembrances of Cosy's past. Last, the recording itself is lively and dynamic. A real treat for the ears and senses. I'm sure you will enjoy this album!
