I can't believe I am the first one to write a review, This is the second album from Chris (not counting the live album from Australia, import only) in just over a year. I have to state this live version captures his more recent concerts with the new banter 'if you are bootlegging, please be respectful and don't miss the new songs' to the encouragement of Rolley of the background vocals. Beautiful music not to be missed if you are a fan of Chris Isaaks' or just curious as to how amazing his live show sounds. This album and that of his shows are always a great value.

If you enjoy seeing Chris Isaak live (or are wondering how he is live), then you are probably going to enjoy this album. There is a great selection of songs and enough of his funny little banter and chit chat to make it a fun listen. Song quality is great too.

If you want to get the impact of Chris Isaak's music, go and hear him live. I did, and this CD, Live at the Fillmore, really rocks when it has to and is mellow when it needs to be. Chris' great personality shines through on this disc, and his band, Silvertone, shows how important it is to have a talented backup band. For die hard fans, this is a gold nugget, for first timers, you have a lot to look forward to. Simply great!

The guys were in top form this night at the Fillmore. Especially useful are "Lonely with a Broken Heart" & "I Want Your Love" which are much more full-bodied than their studio versions...."Move Along" and "Western Stars" are two deeper cuts that are nailed this night...of course, the well-known hits like "Wicked Game" and "Blue Spanish Sky" work just fine too, but this is about as good an introduction to the Isaak concert experience as you can get w/o being there....lots of high energy rock, gorgeous ballads, and a weird, quick sense of humor...

This performance is just like we witnessed live here in the DC area this summer at Wolftrap. He and his band are true professionals & a lot of fun.

Chris Isaak is one of my favourite performers. To my mind his Live in Australia CD is stars higher in performance, sound and content quality. Saw him in concert in Sydney in 2011, even better live.

This has to be one of THE best Chris Isaak cd's ever. I am not a huge fan of live cd's so was a little concerned. However, this is incredible!! The sound is fantastic and there is just the right amount of audience. You truly get the feel of his live performance, and I should know since I was at the Fillmore for all 4 nights of his performance!
This is definitely one to buy!!!

I really, really like this CD. I usually don't care for live performance recordings because there is often too much difference between what I liked on the CD and what a live version sounds like. But here...Chris' voice is EXACTLY like what you are used to hearing, with even more power because you know he is doing this in front of an audience. Silvertone delivers all the different guitar sounds we have become used to, and plays the songs well. Yes, there are some differences between what's on the CDs and what is here, but they are "good" differences, changes that don't detract from the song - let's put it this way, the characteristic "sound" of the band is the same. I admit that I am a long-time fan, which I am sure is why I gave this five stars, but this is a really good CD.

I am a huge Chris Issak fan and own all the cds and have watched all the episodes of the Chris Issak show as well as his most recent Chris Issak Hour series. So my review is somewhat biased. First I think what draws me to his live shows is that he is a performer from the start by his flamboyant outfits and his constant chatter this is hard to translate into a live album. In my opinion the Live in Austraila cd was a disaster because it did not really represent a Chris Issak show...not the case with Live at the Fillmore it was like being at one of his shows (every fan should try and see him, his shows are fantastic). The Silvertones were on fire at this show, could be they were performing in Chris' hometown? Anyways this show is epic with a great mix of new songs with old stuff, the sound was great the band was rocking and Chris was giving it his all. This is a must have for any Chris Issak fan!
