5.0 out of 5 stars KILLER CONCERT
This may not be The Tubes most outrageous tour, and is certainly not their most polished, but it may be their most musically proficient!! With the extra conga drum player and Re Stlyes singing, this tour had the most musicians, and ALL PLAYED GREAT - no excess - killer guitar interplay between Sputnik - Steen.Totally tight arrangements. If you like The Tubes as band this...

The Tubes were the greatest live rock show ever, but even the best have their "better" years. The Tubes were the greatest live rock show ever, but even the best have their "better" years. This tour of the "Remote Control" album seems to have fallen between their outrageous "older" days that made them famous as a live act, and their more "polished" tours starting with "The Completion Backward Principle" album. This tape lacks a good deal of the bite that I expected, but is still entertaining. A lame and overlong and purposely-edited version of "What Do You Want From Life?" makes for the lowest point on the tape, and Fee plays everything too squeaky-clean IMHO, but most things hold up well enough. If you've never been a Tubes fan, you'll be impressed, if you are an Old Tubes Fan, like me, you'll wish they'd taped a tour about 2-3 years earlier!

3.0 out of 5 stars Incredible High-energy video, December 30, 1998

I was actually at this concert about 20 years ago. This shows the incredible stage presentation of perhaps the tightest band I've ever seen. Many costume and set changes make The Tubes history's greatest rock 'n roll revue bands.

The Tubes even did some risque things on stage. Unfortunately, this video edits out some of those moments.

But, this is a fantastic overview if their show.
