5.0 out of 5 stars Max's Kansas City & Sid Vicious, May 6, 2010

This review is from: Live at Max's Kansas City (Audio CD)
Max's Kansas City & Sid Vicious (Sex Pistols) were great. That was the club that started it all for people like Andy Warhol and the Velvet Underground. There will be a documentary soon about Max's, check it out! I even helped film 1 interview for it (Betsey Johnson). Super Cool People!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Sid steps up, October 1, 2004
Everyone pretty much knows that Sid was not much a bass player. That is true. In this case, Sid has decided to be a front man, and damn is he good.....well, most of the time. Occasionally he may forget some words to his own songs (Belsen). I'm not positive if this recording actually has him forgetting the words or not. Either way, Sid is a punk legend, and this is a chance to hear him like never before, in the mic. Must have for any true punk fan, and especially pistols fans. Sid may have been the downfall of the Sex Pistols, but he was also the only reason they mattered. This disc shows you what his real potential was. RIP SID
