One of The Best Live Records Ever!!,

First, Amazon needs to get it together and stop using the same descriptions for products that are not the same. This is the BGO 1 disc version, not the Esoteric 2 disc one. That being said, this is a recording on a par with the Who's Live At Leeds or Humble Pie's Performance: Rockin' The Fillmore. For whatever reason, Man was never that huge outside of Europe, but on the evidence contained on this disc, they should have been. The snarling, battling guitars of Micky Jones and Deke Leonard reach dizzying heights few of their peers ever did. And the skillful drumming of Terry Williams is the icing on the cake. This is a overlooked band that would be well worth your time to investigate......

As with alot of bands, the live music tends to be a little better with these guys. Not that the studio albums lack anything, the live albums are just better. Maybe because of the extended jams and all. As I said on another review, i don't know how I missed these guys in the early seventies, maybe a little to much partying at the time. Then again, maybe they just did'nt get distributed as they should of. Anyway, just a great album all around, especially with the bonus disc.
