This CD showcases Celine Dion's vocal talent at it's best, and I often find that much of this gifted artist's work is better when recorded live rather than in the studios. I find that this CD along with her previous live release "Live Al Olympia" reveal Celine at her best, unlike other artists who's on-stage and live performances often prove to be more damaging to their credibility as singers. The album contains exceptional moments- my favorite, perhaps, is when Celine reveals a hidden talent...her astonishing ability to imitate the sounds of instruments as she introduces the members of her musical entourage. Also, the fresh quality and appeal of the often over-played 'Deaux' tracks, proves that when Celine performs her studio-recorded material live- she sings with such vitality and passion that it seems that we're hearing these songs for the first time. Adding the single "To Love You More" was indeed a 'bonus', but I find that it is out of place on this testament to Dion's abilities as a 'live' performer and I don't consider it to be one of the more shining moments on this album. However, the moments that do shine are what should perhaps be considered Celine trademark tracks, classics such as "The Power of Love" and "Ziggy", which are, naturally, included. This is the album that made me realize that if I would be given only one opportunity to see an artist live, I would definitely choose Celine Dion, for she makes the concert experience a truly memorable and worthwhile one.

Rating this by a song that Celine and Lara teamed up to sing. I located on youtube and it is excellent. It does not show them singing together on the video, just their faces. They sound so much alike but the song Calling You (Power Voices) is fantastic. A huge longtime fan of Celine and a dream to see her perform in concert 1 day, a newly fan of Laras music and just so happy to have discovered this and learned something new today. Love your fan Not a 4 its far better than a 5. My 15 yr old is fascinated by the voices of both and thought it was Celine singing.

This is an excellent CD. As a number of live CD's it is full of previous favorites. Production seems good, with crisp music throughout. The cover packet includes some cool, psuedo-spepia toned images from the concert, as well as words to all the songs. I would highly recommend it.

This is the very best of French language Celine Dion song's.
I prefer the french music of Celine Dion that in english, it`s so good and beatiful.

This CD is a beautiful piece of vocal perfection from Celine Dion. It doesn't matter if you don't know french language, her performance is unique, and gets to connect your soul with her voice. Buy it!!!!

This is a very special french album of a live Celine concert. If you enjoy her ability to play with her voice - this is for you.

Live in Paris, at the Zenith Theatre, showcases Dion at the absolute pinical of her French success. At the time the concert was recorded, Duex, the album which the tour was promoting, was number one in france as was the accompanying single "Pour Que Taimes Encore." Duex became the biggest selling French album in history and "Pour Que Taimes Encore" the most succesful french song in history.

Live in Paris was on the footsteps of these accomplishments and Dion delivers in both English and French at a truly powerful point in her French language career. Dion proves that her French material is more interesting covering such topics of poverty and homelessness in "Les Derniers Seront Les Premiers", falling in love with a homosexual in "Ziggy" and thoughts of suicide and the real true angst of love in the powerful "Je Sais Pas".

"Pour Que Taimes Encore" is even more haunting and emotional live chronicaling the desperation for a lover to come back at any cost.
The true gem of this recording is "Quand on N'A Que l'Amour" a song Dion has never recorded in the studio and has only been showcased in live performances. A powerful song that tells if all you have is love, you have the world in your hands and the power to change. absolutely amazing!

I know Celine Dion singing in English and in french, and her voice when she sing Brel ( quand on a que l'amour ) or Ziggy , who are very famous songs in France normaly singing for big french singers , the interpretation , her sensibility that you can hear , will make your skin up !!! . I hope that she will sing other classic french song in other album , and like I've seen in magazine that she will not stopped singing .

This is an awesome work from Celine Dion. All her cd's are great but this is one of the best. Please try the video of this concert, it's awesome. All Celine Dion fans please support her and buy her new cd; which will be out the 23th and 24th of October all over the globe. Celine Rocks!!!!!

I picked this CD up in Zwolle, Netherlands, No one in CA had it last summer when I had it. I love it. The French teacher at school loves it as well. It is fabulous. All fans of Celine Dion need it.
