Biography

It’s 1973 in South London. Teenage friends Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook form the band that will see them dubbed ‘The New Lennon and McCartney’. Over 35 years later, with their legacy intact and as vital as it has ever been, Squeeze are still touring and reminding fans worldwide just why they have left such an indelible impression on the UK’s music scene.

As teenagers on the South London scene,… Read more in Amazon's Squeeze Store

3.0 out of 5 stars Great Performace - Poor Recording, January 13, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Live at Royal Albert Hall (Audio CD)
This CD features an outstanding performance from Squeeze. Unfortunately, the CD sounds like a bootleg. There is no continuity, the sound quality is mediocre and you can hear audience artefacts.

Tempted is an acoustic version that adds nothing to the original. The live version of Some Fantastic Place, however, is worth the price of admission. The CD is only for fans.

4.0 out of 5 stars SOUNDS LIKE SQUEEZE TO ME!, September 7, 2004
This review is from: Live at Royal Albert Hall (Audio CD)
I have to tell you that I am and have always been a big Squeeze fan. My faves are Cosi on down to UK, and it was so nice to hear some of those tunes live at the Albert. This is a rare CD set but worth it for any true Squeeze fan and collector. These guys know how to play and sing without any touching up. Just listen to some of the samples if you want to taste of live Squeeze.
