Actually the review is 5 stars. For some reason...I can't change it. Anyway...I have been rocking these discs over and over since it came out (Dec. 2003). If you want to get a feeling of what a typical Saturday night is like at Club Space (Miami) then pick this disc up immediatly. Dark, progressive, Deep, Drums...there is no label for this set. Great $hit.

Get this now. This set IS Oscar G and IS what a Staurday night at Space in Miami is like. Not even going to go track by track, its not necessary. This is the MURK sound in its purest fashion and the one we have all grown to love during Oscar's signature Housessions.

This set wil put you right in the middle of dance floor at Space 34 on a Saturday night or early Sunday morning depending on which disc you listen to. If I had to differentiate between the 2 discs, I would dfeinately say that disc 1 feels like the new Space 34, while cd 2 reminds me of the old Space just a couple blocks away we all hated to see go.

Find a dark room, throw this on and let the rhythms take you, this set is Miami at its's best!!

What else can be said that everyone else has already said? Tribal. Dark. Progressive. Hottest CD I ever bought. I can picture the flood lights @ Space flashing at me and feel the chills going through my body when I was there. I actually start dancing in the car. Oscar G is amazing. I recommend this to everyone that enjoys a harder, deeper, and dark house.

Sick cd. Lots of drums and driving basslines. If you like the tribal afterhour sound get this double cd.

Definitly my favorite CD that I own right now! It is absolutly amazing! It is impossible to listen to this CD and not dance. You feel like you are right there at Space, you can hear the crowd, you can hear the horns, the sirens and that incredible music you can't remember for the life of you after you leave the club. I recommend this CD to all lovers of Oscar G, Space, Miami, and hard, deep, spine tingling house music....stop reading this review and buy the cd!

This is a unique 2 disk set. The first is focused on recent vocal plays and is interesting - however, it is fairly traditional in selecting currently popular music. The GEM is Disk #2. It is entirely the opposite of #1 and focus on more synthetic music with strong base and beat.

By far one of my all time favorite CDs. Oscar G brings you to space, and keeps you captivated with every track. Its dirty, dark, house. Highly reccomended!

This is one of the best live CDs ever recorded...you can feel the energy from the dance floor....this my gym CD.....if you have never been to Club Space this will almost take you there ...and if you have been before this will bring back those great memories! Highly Recommended!!!

First off, if Tribal diva house is your bag, this is not the CD for you. You might want to check out the Peter Rauhofer live @ Roxy series. Live@space contains hot drum tracks and filtered vocal samples only.

This is definietely the harder (and In my opinion, better) side of the star 69 label. First off, i will say that i have never been to Club Space. However i do frequent velvetnation in D.C. and the 1st CD also clearly represents a tpyical saturday night at velvetnation before peak hour.

The first CD is nice blend of progressive underground tribal house. It contains those tracks you always heard at the beginning of the night that always had that tight groove and awesome rhythem, but never knew who produced them. As the 1st CD progresses so does the intensity...but stops short of peak hour. The mixing is near flawless and smooth. The 2nd CD kinda leaves the Tribal tip and moves more towards a hard house/tech house tip, or in other words sounds like junior vasquez in his hard house element. I am guessing this mix starts in the middle of peak hour and plays out.

One thing can be for certain, is that if star 69 continues down this track with more live CDs as this one, we can expect great things from them.

If I had to choose I like the 1st CD better!

If you have seen the following DJs live and liked them, pick this CD up now! Most of the DJs below; bang the roof off all night, but thier compilations do not reflect that.
