Harry Pickens - a name worth remembering,

Months, may be years, ago I heard on the radio a portion of "I've Accustomed to Your Face" performed by a pianist whose name I didn't catch. I've been listening ever since. Finally, there was that sound again. I paid close attention (Harry Pickens? Who's he?) and ordered it before I forgot. This is still my favorite selection, but every one is a presentation worthy of attention. Actually, I think the applause is a distraction.

Heard Mr. Pickens on PBS tape. Played "Blame it on my Youth." Most beautiful piano piece ever. I thought it might be on this album when I bought it, however I was completely satisfied after hearing "Blueberry Winter." I wish I could get the tape played on PBS. I would like information about concerts and club dates.
