This album is a combination of two concerts, one at Yankee Stadium and one in Puerto Rico. There is no weak song on this album. The standout is "Congo Bongo," which features Mongo Santamaria and Ray Barretto going at it on the congas. Hector Lavoe improvises vocals throughout the song. If you are a fan a true NY salsa, this is a must have. Volume one is also a must have. Also checkout Fania All-Stars "Live at the Cheetah" volumes 1 and 2. These two albums put the Fania All-Stars on the map.

This is one of the best albums from the legendary Fania All Stars. The quality of sound in this CD is great even when it was recorded in the mid 70's.

This CD is one of the best on latin music. Celia Cruz, Queen of salsa music, Bobby Cruz, Ismael Quintana, Justo Betancourt, Hector Lavoe, and Cheo Feliciano make a memorable experience. They combine the latin american music with New York sound on a amazing stream of sound.

The Fania All-Stars were essentially Fania Records' premier group. Most if not all of them were the top artists for the label and of the New York Salsa scene of the 1970s and prior. The artists of this group consisted of Johnny Pacheco(who was one of the co-founders of the label), Willie Colon, Ray Baretto, Ruben Blades, Hector Lavoe and Celia Cruz, Eddie Palmieri & Tito Puente as special guests.

This album was the second of two volumes recorded at Yankee Stadium recorded in 1973. These 5 tracks are hot and these cats have chops to spare. Whether you download it,buy it new or used this will be among the most important albums in your record collection for years to come.

I highly recommend 'Bemba Colora'. The horns playing and percussions is just beautifully insane. But it all fits and sounds excellent.
