Editorial Reviews

The lead singer of an 80's rock band, a corporate lackey, and an evil mother in-law all die unexpectedly in a bizarre series of events. They come back to life, hoping to pick up where they left off, but are stymied in their efforts by prejudice, long hidden secrets, and the general inconvenience of being dead.

Format: DVD
The dead come back to life and attempt to get their own lives back to the dismay of everyone who has moved on. The movie follows 3 such people. One is an 80's style rock singer (Steve Thomas) who fired his entire band. Their discussion was a criticism of today's choreographed, lip-synced, booty shaking concerts where the music really doesn't count. There is a salesman (Scott Graham) whose wife cheats on him. He was murdered by a mad samurai. The third dead person is a controlling mother-in-law (Michelle Trout) who made life hell for her daughter-in-law(Amy Smith). Life got better for everyone when these folks died and now they are back.

Good parody of modern times. F-bomb, brief nudity. Campy.

I was unsure about the low budget, but always like to give a movie a chance and glad I did. The movie was well directed, well written, with a very talented and funny cast. I enjoyed the different types of music and how well they fit their scenes. And the way loose ends were tied up. The make-up was hilarious and great. I don't know but this could be the next cult film!

I am very much into zombie films, especially B movies. I first saw this film a few years ago and just fell in love with the creativity. You've got 3 different stories intertwined into one movie, each person having an issue that only intensifies when they return from the dead. It reminds me of stories/movies where someone is sent to prison or is away from home for awhile, and when they try to go back they just run into more and more obstacles, except instead of returning from prison or "the land afar" they are returning from death. So anyone that loves zombie films and sarcastic drama would love this film.
