I was so very fortunate to usher at one of Tommy's performances in February 2006 at the Bass Performance Hall's McNair Rehearsal Studio in Fort Worth, TX. Tommy is an incredible acoustic guitar player. He plays exceptionally well and so effortlessly! He is definitely a "CGP" as this album states... a Certified Guitar Player. Not only does he play the songs on the CD with such great style, but he also wrote most of the songs himself. Before the show I was lucky enough to be ushering next to Tommy's merchandise table, so I got to hear the interactions between Tommy's manager and the patrons/Tommy's groupies - many of whom have followed him around the country to hear him play - on the topic of "the best album to purchase". This album was the most recommended among Tommy groupies as well as Tommy's manager. I myself bought this album because of the song "Initiation". However, every song has become my favorite.

I love this CD! It took awhile to arrive from the UK and I eagerly anticipated receiving it. Trust me, it was worth the wait. This is Tommy Emmanuel at his best and there is no better on the guitar! You won't be disappointed in the music on this CD. Plus, it has 28 songs which makes for a lot of listening enjoyment.

Very good music and great guitar. However, because it was live and in some type of entertainment facility, there is a lot of hollow echo. That detracts from the quality of the music. Some voices are muffled and hard to understand. Otherwise, good.
