The Meaning of Art,

I don't know exactly why it's surprising to me why a nun should have such a wonderful understanding of art and be able to talk so eloquently about it, but it is. Perhaps it's because art covers the whole range of human emotions, and I somehow expect a nun, because of what being a nun entails, to be cut off from half of them or something. Sister Wendy is cut off from nothing. I wish I could see things so clearly as she does, respond to things so completely. I feel blind in comparison. She is an absolute joy and marvel to watch.

Sister Wendy is a joy to watch. These are around 10 minutes each, so a little expensive to buy. However, they are a must-see if you have Amazon Prime.
