As an early childhood educator, I found this book to be invaluable resource on the importance of of dramatic play among young children. This clearly written book gives parents and educators alike a better understanding of the contributions of play to the cognitive, social and physical development of preschoolers, and includes constructive ideas for encouraging dramatic play in the school and home. This book gave me the backround I needed to explain the importance of dramatic play in my pre-school program.
