Lives of The Saints II: For Every Day Of The Year is a very good book about the Catholic Saints and includes interesting facts about the different Saints and other info like what their Feast Days are. If you are Catholic and are interested in te lives of the Saints then I highly recommend this book and also the first book in this series!

The Lives of the Saints II is a daily devotional, with a short, almost cursory, biography of the saint(s) of the day, a short prayer for intercession, and a few illustrations. The saints profiled are generally the lesser known and more modern canonizations, as the Lives of the Saints (the first book), tends to focus on the traditional saint feast days. The style is such that ages 12 and up will find it a useful and interesting devotional.

Lovely little book of the Saints for the price you pay. For Ten dollars you get what you paid for it but, I would not recommend the book for children though, because the paper probably would not hold up under the abuse of a twelve year old or younger, and the illustrations are plain black and white and very small. I am happy with it but am not going to give it to my niece.

This book highlights the lives of each saint for every day of the year. Easy read and good starter to expose the children to follow the good examples of saint.
