5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome!
Not really sure what I was going to get when I ordered this, but when it came in, I was glad to see some truth in advertising. This is a GREAT mug...when the center button seal is closed it doesn't leak! with the removable cover on the top in place it keeps coffee hot for hours...really can't ask much more in a travel mug. I use mine in Iraq and it's exactly the kind...

1.0 out of 5 stars Neat idea . . . But it STINKS! (Literally)
This is a neat idea for a travel mug. I liked the way it looked and I liked the easy open and close with the push button. But, the plastic rings that sealed the cup had a strong odor of plastic. The odor leached into my coffee and made it taste like, well, plastic! Not good! It may be good for cold liquids, but since I wanted it for coffee, I sent it back.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Travel Thermos-Mug Yet, June 30, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Livestrong By Chantal Stainless Steel Travel Mug (Kitchen)
This product is the best travel thermos/mug I have ever had. I like it enough to bother writing this review, which is a first for me. I like how I can open and close the drinking mechanism with one hand. That's "handy" when driving. Also, no sloshing! That's a big thumb's up right there. It's diameter is just right for my cup holder in my car, too. I have only had coffee in it for up to three hours and it was still plenty hot. I admit it's a very pricey item for what it is, but you get what you pay for. And to top it all off, they donate 10% of the proceeds to Lance Armstrongs' LiveStrong foundation. A personal hero of mine. All positives and no negatives yet! Cheers!

Excellent product. It definitely will keep your beverages cold for over 7 hours. Haven't tried the hot beverages.

2.0 out of 5 stars Center portion of like broke in an hour., June 19, 2009

I just received this my and was excited over the reviews. Washed it and put some hot tea in. It stayed very hot for about two hours. As Im reading my book I push the button to allow for a sip and the whole center portion of the lid goes into the cup splashing scalding tea onto my arm. Im not sure if the cover is supposed to be two pieces or if its broken.

It does keep hot liquids very hot...just ask my arm.

Okay...I have been emailing Chantal customer service over the past hour and all I can say is amazing. Two minutes after emailing I had a rep corresponding to me regarding the situation. Its an hour later and he is sending a new lid. I was angry at first when I called and they directed me to email a question. Now I am happy and will be a loyal fan of their products. The rep was excellent and provided service above and beyond. I would like to bump my rating to 4 STARS...based on the quality of the insulation of the mug and the customer service.

5.0 out of 5 stars Truly keeps my coffee hot and stays in the cup holder, July 17, 2008
This review is from: Livestrong By Chantal Stainless Steel Travel Mug (Kitchen)
I have been searching for months for something that would keep my coffee hot and I could drink out of it also. I go swimming in the morning for a couple of hours and when i get back in the car I am ready for coffee as I drive to work. This mug is perfect and you can drink out of any side while keeping your eye on the road. Also stays put in the cup holder because it is weighted. All Chantal products are awesome. I got the teakettle as a gift since I was recently diagnosed with cancer and started to look for other products - I found the mug and I am so glad. A donation goes to Livestrong.

5.0 out of 5 stars ultimate coffee cup, April 3, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Livestrong By Chantal Stainless Steel Travel Mug (Kitchen)
after dozens of mugs from every source possible have finally found a coffee container that:is cool to touch, easy to drink from without spilling, fits in all car cup holders and most importantly, keeps coffee and tea hot for 1/2 a day. until you get used to this marvel, you can burn lips after hours of just sitting there! filled at 6:00AM, is still hot by Noon( with screw on second lid in place) Now that's a customer freindly product. well made of stainless steel, it does tolerate dishwasher, although not recommended.this is a best of class!

2.0 out of 5 stars Great until it stopped working., December 16, 2008

I've only had this mug for a few months and I've loved it, but this morning when I pressed the button for liquid to come out, nothing came out. The plunger part at the bottom isn't opening. I can still use it if I take the whole top off, but it's useless for drinking on the road. I'm very disappointed as I really like it, but I'd be leery of buying another one, especially since they're so expensive.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Travel Mug!, October 3, 2008
This review is from: Livestrong By Chantal Stainless Steel Travel Mug (Kitchen)
Like my fellow reviewer, I have been searching for months for something that would keep my coffee hot, I could drink out of it and also looks cool. This mug is perfect. I like the stainless steel finish, makes it a good mug at work! Also, like the size of the mug as it makes it easy to hold in your hand. It does whatever it claims, keeps your coffee hot and spill proof. Bonus: A donation goes to Livestrong!
