What a nice surprise!, January 20, 2003

2003 was my very first Johnny Winter purchase. I wanted to hear "Leavin' Blues" (recorded 1964-67) to hear where Led Zeppelin got their music for Travelling Riverside Blues (recorded in 1969) and I ended up liking all the other songs on this CD, which was a nice surprise. Except the songs listed are not the same on the CD, nor are they in the same sequence. On the CD they are 1. Ease My Pain 2. That's What Love Does 3. Five After Four A.M. 4. Livin' In The Blues 5. Leavin' Blues 6. Parchman Farm 7. Bad News 8. 32-20 Blues 9. Kindhearted Woman Blues 10. Going Down Slow 11. Low Down Gal Of Mine 12. Road Runner
This CD is a nice addition to my music collection and it's CD's like this that make music research very enjoyable.
