The bird bath does not look like the picture online! It's more gold than bronze, and it's lightweight plastic. I did fill it with sand, and I'll put small stakes into the ground to keep it from being blown over by heavy winds. It doesn't look plastic though. Overall, for the price of $16.99 plus shipping that I paid for it, I'm not too dissatisfied. Nice addition to my garden, and it is a lot taller than most bird baths.

This bird bath looks great in the picture and seemed perfect for my upper level deck as I couldn't have anything too heavy. Well, when put together, it was lopsided. Okay, I dealt with that all summer. But the worst thing was the goldish-brown coating on it kept coming off in flakes that filled the water everytime I filled it for the birds. So, who knows if the birds were being contaminated with the goldish-brown flakes? Then, the first freeze of the year, the bowl had a huge crack in it, couldn't hold water, so what good is it? I got so mad, I threw it over the railing of my deck and it is now on its side in the middle of my back yard, having rolled down there. Don't waste your money.
