The finished product is useful and functional and seems to be sturdy. My full-sized Weber Genesis grill fits with enough room for two adults to boot. It is sold under several different brand names. I bought mine at a Fred Meyer under the HD Designs label, but it's the same product (same manufacturer - Sunjoy). It's also sold by Walmart and Sears (and presumably others).

1. Set-up is NOT a one-person job. Even the instructions say this.

2. The set-up instructions are almost worthless and entail nothing more than a series of pictures with part numbers.

3. Make sure you have the 4 main vertical posts set up properly. There are holes on two sides of each post for screwing in the upper horizontal supports and the shelves. You MUST have these set up in the right order or the shelves and the canopy structure will not fit. THE DIRECTIONS MAKE NO MENTION OF THIS!!!!!

4. The bolts are made of a very soft metal and strip very easily. DO NOT USE a ratchet(manual or power)! Manually screw in the bolts/washers, then tighten with wrench or grip-pliers.

5. Use a power driver (Phillips head) for the screws but be careful not to strip the screws heads.

6. The canopy covers (2) fit VERY tight. Make sure the end-caps are pointed the right direction (angled down).

It took my wife and I about 90 minutes to assemble the unit (not accounting for having to disassemble it after getting the vertical posts out of order). You also need two people to move it around.

Note: The instructions say you are supposed to disassemble this gazebo in adverse (windy?) weather and for winter storage. REALLY??? Is that because it sets up and comes apart so easily??? NOT!!! I would suggest simply unbolting the whole roof/canopy structure in one piece (4 bolts) and storing that somewhere. The metal frame structure without the canopy can withstand wind and rain.

I purchased this at Walmart for fifty dollars less. It was easy to put up. I was concerned it would not be sturdy enough for our Florida stormy weather. It's gone through two severe storms (although not hurricanes yet) and still looks great. Purchased a set of gazebo lights at Target for twenty bucks. My gazebo sets on a flat area made out of patio stones. The feet have holes in them so you can secure them with wood screws if you have a wooden deck, or in my case, masonry screws for the patio stones. Keeps my two grills and mini-outdoor kitchen nice and dry. If, if the future, the fabric does tear, there are replacements that you can buy. The two sides feature glass shelves that actually make the gazebo steadier. Look around, you won't find any other gazebo at this price that functions so well.

This is a great and fairly sturdy item! I bought two as we have a small and narrow front patio...its great...I built it without the side glass shelves and sewed some privacy curtains :) but buy it at Walmart! Its only 144.00 here in Canada...and probably even cheaper at Walmarts in USA :)

The picture looks great so I bought it as a Father's day present. And I was completely disappointed how the canopy seemed poor quality and collect water when it rains and has "stretched" on 2 sides so that after it rains I have to push water out and some of the rods and shelves were dented. I tried calling the sunjoydirect.com distributed by Living Accents Grill Gazebo for the replacement of the parts are dented and they have A POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE. DONT BUY AT THIS COMPANY.

I've had this nearly a year and it is a tough SOB. It's been through a hurricane winds, snow, heat and cold. It has moved. And I haven't even bolted it down yet(just lazy I guess, LoL!). I would recommend this gazebo to anyone.

This gazebo is alright, It'll do the job just fine, i does look rather nice when all set up and it is sturdy enough, but the screws and washers I received were rusted and painted very badly, so I touched them up with a sharpie after setting it all up. I'm not using this for a grill, my balcony is very small and this was a perfect fit, I actually turned it into a catio with some black garden fencing and the overall effect turned out very nice. Four stars for aesthetics, minus one for awful directions (awful, not impossible) and rusty mechanics. I should also state that I purchased mine at walmart for about 50.00$ cheaper. I love amazon, but I like to save money as well!

Just finished adding a deck to the house, and saw this while shopping for a Gazebo. I've been looking for something to put the grill under for protection. It arrived 2 days early, so there's a plus. It went together fairly quickly, taking 1 person about an hour and a half. I bolted it to the deck as the spikes included are designed for the ground. The only tools I used were the included wrench (as a test), and a screw driver.

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY. Each step is a couple of actions combined, and if you don't read them carefully, you'll end up having to take off the small canopy frame like I did. Make one small adjustment in the instructions. When you start putting the roof together, build the large canopy frame, and attach the canvas. Build the small upper canopy frame, and attach the canvas on the ground prior to mounting it on top. Then attach the small canopy frame.

The only thing I see wrong is minor. The spacing between the legs on the short sides are not even all the way down. Up top it's 48.5", and at the bottom it's 48".

It does move a bit, and I might try to find a way to add a brace along the back side to see if that tightens it up. The shelves are adding stability on the short side, but there's nothing along the back side.

Overall it's a nice little gazebo for the grill, and I think it'll do what I need it to do. I'm going to wait and see how it does in the wind. We don't get much snow out here, so hopefully it'll handle what we get. For now though, it looks good, and the grill fits under it perfectly.

UPDATE: It just survived one pretty good wind storm that blew the grill cover half way across my yard (50 yards away). So it's going to last for a little while.
