This is some of the finest and best romantic music ever made. The late Phyllis Hyman was one of the greatest songstresses of the v20th century and the two albums reissued on this package were her greatest works. "Walk Away", "Living All Alone", "First Time Together", "I Found Love", "Living In Confusion", "Old Friend" and "You Just Don't Know" are timeless ballads which were tailor-made for Phyllis' emotive, wistful and melancholic singing style. She left us much too soon but her music stands the test of time.

This collection is wonderful. My family had the album, "Living All Alone," when I was little. I loved it then and I love it now.

ANYONE WHO IS A TRUE PHYLLIS HYMAN FAN MUST GET THIS! THESE ARE TWO OF HER BEST ALBUMS! I LOVED HER VOICE, DEFINITELY ONE OF THE GREATEST OF OUR TIME.

If you love Phyllis Hyman, this is some of her best work. I really enjoy it over and over.

I miss Phyllis! She was a very gifted singer. It is nice to just sit back and listen to her sing,her voice and ranger outstanding. I miss her so!

This album was hard to find, yet so worth it all!!!! How could you not goosebumps from this voice??? There will NEVER be another Phyllis Hyman. She is truly missed.

These are definitely two of her best recordings ever. Anyone who is a real fan of r&b music, especially where Phyllis Hyman is concerned, would not let this compilation get out of their sight. You are not going to find the cd title "Living All Alone" on cd by itself anywhere. I checked around at all of the local record stores here in Detroit and they could not find it. That's why i'm glad i copped it when it first came out on cd. And i don't intend on letting it go. This is a must have and i highly recommend all music lovers to grab it while you can.

I indulge myself with everything from " Living all Alone" to "Scream at the Moon" this cd is a great listen. I enjoy the sound and the sultry cleanness of the instrument that was her voice. Her talent will be missed.

This combo disc has on it what is in my opinion, P Hyman's best work. With "You Just Don't Know" being my favorite choice. Prior to her death, I was a huge fan who played these two albums repeatedly. Singing along word for word (Background included). I was in love with her soulful smooth sound. But a sub par performance in Memphis, Tn and later her death made me stop listening to what I thought would be a great artist for years to come. I don't mean to sound mean, but I just don't understand what would make someone take their own life. There are too many people and things to live for. Artist become a part of their fan's fabric. Just something else to be considered. I ridded myself of her music. Time's healing made me purchase it again.

I was very pleased with my CD purchase. It arrived as was stated for delivery estimation. I was also pleased because I thought I was only getting one CD, but turned out to be a two CD purchase. The price was extremely reasonable. I will make future purchases through this Web site.
