From the time her toes dip into the early-morning Florida waters, to the moment she carries herself across the finish line, Jen takes us through the journey.
A fun and easy read, you'll find yourself laughing at the highs, crying at the lows, and cheering her along with every step, stroke and mile.
This book is not about athletics. Living Beyond Awesome is about determination, commitment and all that is possible.
Get it for everyone in your family.
The writing of this book is amateurish. I think it's written in a tone to make you feel like you're having a conversation with a friend. Instead I felt like I was stuck in Jen's head as her thoughts bounced all over the place with out making sense. The book is written very choppily, with events written out of sequence and lots of uncompleted thoughts.
But, it's still an inspiring read. Anyone that can successfully train for and complete an ironman is an inspiration to me, but to do it with 5 kids? Awesome! I think if you're looking for something to lift you up and give you a little smile, this is it. It's a fast easy read. If you want to learn more about the sport itself, look for another book.

Little detail, not really inspiring. I would suggest trying other well written, motivational essays. There is a little of why, but no how.Published on January 17, 2014 by Steven C Marchand
