Book Description

November 13, 2008 1843100592 978-1843100591 1
After falling fifteen feet from a ladder in 1994, Philip Fairclough suffered major brain damage. Unable at first to tell the time or even dress himself, he underwent an intensive course of rehabilitation and slowly relearned the lost skills he had once taken for granted.

Philip's courage and determination characterize this candid account of the hurdles he faced and overcame, in coming to terms with his injury, living in a rehabilitation center, and readapting to family life. His compelling story offers inspiration, hope, and practical advice to people who have suffered a traumatic brain injury and those who care for them.
