A Living Dinosaur: In Search of Mokele-Mbembe,
By Paul Dunbar (Paducah, KY) - See all my reviews
This review is from: A Living Dinosaur: In Search of Mokele-Mbembe (Hardcover)
I read the book, and I liked it because Dr. Mackal is very conservative scientist, and he has lots of courage. He just looked at eye-witnesses and weighted the evidence. He never saw a Dinosaur, but he took careful notes from People in the Congo who said they saw one. He documents eye witnesses and other stories starting in the 17th century when Jesuits who were some the first Europeans who visited there. It was an interesting read. I bought the book straight from Dr. Mackal at the University of Chicago.
