The beauty and power of Gospel music is that it will meet you where you are. For example, I have listened to this c.d. a dozen times but last week I heard it for the first time. My personal situation has changed and the ministry of The Canton Spirituals met me where I am. That is the beauty and that is the power of GOSPEL music in general and The Canton Spirituals specifically. This is why you must purchase, not rent or borrow this c.d. You'll need it handy, late in the mid-night hour. Heaven IS looking down on us all and I especially felt the presence of the LORD during GOD LOVES YOU. Please purchase this c.d. and keep it handy. It is both beautiful and powerful.

I CAN TRULEY SAY FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART THAT THE CANTON SPIRITUALS ARE VERY,VERY ANOINTED MEN OF GOD. ON THIS ALBUM, I REALLY ENJOY THE SONG HALLELUJAH SQUARE. IT TOUCHES MY HEART LIKE NO OTHER SONG IN THE WORLD. THAT SONG JUST MINISTERS TO ME IN A SPECIAL WAY. TO BE BRIEF, IT MAKES ME CRY. THERE'S A LOT I CAN SAY ABOUT THEM BUT I'M NOT GIVEN ENOUGH SPACE. I'VE BEEN LISTENING TO THEM FOR 12 YEARS NOW AND I'M STILL ENJOYING THEM. IN MY HOUSE,ON MY JOB,IN MY CAR AND AT CHURCH I'M SINGING SONGS OF THE CANTON SPIRITUALS. BESIDES BEING SAVED THEY ARE THE GREATEST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO ME. I GUARANTEE YOU THAT THERE WILL BE NO MORE TROUBLE IN HALLELUJAH SQUARE.

Without a doubt, if you like real gospel music, not disguised as gospel, this album will fulfil your needs. When I became saved, this particular CD helped me in my new walk. It's loaded with songs that could only have been given to them by God Himself. A tribute to themselves, but most of all to the Lord Himself. The Canton Spirituals sound better than ever on this one. Did you know they perform live (Free) every July 4th in the square in Canton, Mississippi? It'll be well worth your time to witness the salvation that their music will place in your life.

I'm glad I've got Jesus down in my heart! I'm also glad I've got the Holy Ghost in my temple (body) too. I really enjoy the Canton Spirituals! They are anointed with the Holy Ghost and God uses them mightily! I'm glad that Jesus allowed this album to go forth to minister to the multitudes and I'm again glad that I've got Jesus down in my heart! Hallelujah! If you haven't bought this, please do and it will be a blessing to you, I promise! God bless!

If I could give this more stars, I would. This is my favorite gospel CD hands down. I like every song on this one. Everything on here is great and powerful. Love the opening song "How Long Will It Be" "Clean Up" and "Smoothin Up The Rough Way" especially. Highly anointed and powerful. You will like this CD. The Canton Spirituals throw in a few surprises in terms of sounds with a nod to country and western and blues on this disc. Check for it. A super splendid gospel recording.

I love the canton spirituals. My uncle brought Live in Memphis 1 and 2 to my house, and after I watched them the first time about 100 times followed. When they were in Montgomery at clean up 98' I took a picture with Harvey. I was so happy that I blabbered all the way back to Evergreen. I just went to see them yesterday in Montgomery, Alabama again. I have all of their video tapes and CDs except for their latest video. They have been such an inspiration to me and I hope God blesses them to further be an inspiration to others. I LOVE THE CANTONS!!!!!!!!!

If you're looking for some great music that appeals to individuals of all ages, check out the latest project from these talented gentlemen of God from Mississippi. This album which was recorded live in our nation's capital is one of the best I've seen from them, yet. Although, the presence of the original member Harvey, Sr. is surely missed - there is no mistake in knowing that this group can definitely carry their own. Be sure to check out "Halleluia Square" and "Smoothin'" my personal favorites. Canton Spirituals this is a great project, continue to make good God-fearing Christian music.

I was born & raised in Mississippi but now a resident of Memphis,TN so i never really lost my roots. I give all the music that they have made over the years a thumbs up. Sending all of my prayers out to the Canton Spirituals who recently lost there longtime keyboard player "BIG WALLACE" Strickland at the age of 33. He will be forever missed along with "POP" Watkins,Sr. Truly the will both play and sing above in heaven with the heavenly choir.

Thank you Jesus for blessing me with the abililty to hear such annointing gospel. The Canton Spirituals have made me changed my life and take a closer look at my life ...I know I have been changed...it's such a cool change...and I think my Father for blessing me with such a change...

This CD and Video was the greatest yet from these fine gentlemen from Canton, MS. It took them awhile to come back but it shows that they took time to make sure that it would come as an uplifting project for everyone who here's it. I have a personal message to these talented young guys, who are also basically very easy on the eyes. -Harvey: Keep the Faith God Loves You and so do we! Remember you have a lot of people from Dayton, OH in your corner Dwayne: You are one gifted guitar playin young brother, Continue you be an inspiration to our young black men. Luscious: Darling you need to smile more, we know that you are very serious and very talented. Vic: Keep the Faith you are amongst the most talented group of fellas in the World. You have one of the most cutest voices in gospel music today. Michael: There is no other Drummer in the World that has inspired my nephew more than you , after watching you He is detemined to become a professional drummer. Wallace: Your talent is remarkable, continue to keep God first. God Bless you all in the name of Jesus. Look forward to hearing from your next project.
