Burning Spear continues to set the standard by which Reggae (and other) acts must be judged. And indeed, the standard has been set high on this recording. The emphasis here is less on "dub" special effects and more on the outstanding musicianship of Spear's band. The production is refined and even elegant. In short, the whole thing shines from start to finish. In my opinion, it is superior to the original release upon which it is based, as well as Living Dub(s) I-III, which is really saying something. A real winner this one....
