This "was" the first burning spear, and for that matter dub music that I ever heard, and it is still one of my all time favorites. each track flows perferctly. great songs with many elements droping in and out of the mix in a a haze of echo and verb, wailing horns, shimering keyboards, and intricate drums. i have read opinions on the web and in newsgroups that this does not live up to the quality of living dub 1, but I prefer volume 2. timeless mystical music.

This is the dub album to Hail HIM. The tracks are all good on the original album and the dubbing on this serves them well. Not the first thing I'd tell you to buy from Burning Spear, but well worth the price (especially if you know and love Hail HIM already.)

About half of this album is decent. Slightly disappointing compared to the orginal "Hail HIM."
