Editorial Reviews

From Library Journal

In this updated edition of The Living Will Source Book, with Forms (P. Gaines Co., 1986), Williams explores the historical, legal, and ethical bases for living wills and the durable power of attorney, both directives designed to end life-support measures in hopeless cases. Like B.D. Colen in The Essential Guide to a Living Will ( LJ 3/15/91), Williams provides all current right-to-die legislation and state-mandated Living Will and Durable Power of Attorney forms. The only difference between the books is the format; Williams's tome is 8 x 11 with sharp-cut print; Colen's book is 5 x 8. Large public libraries may prefer Williams's book, while the Colen title ($7.95) may satisfy smaller libraries on a limited budget.
