UNBELIEVABLY PATHETIC!!!,

Michael Madsen once again proves that even with some "stars" such as Furlong and Vosloo he can ruin a movie to the point of it being comical. This is easily one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my entire life. The acting is lethargic, Madsen is laughable and the writing could have been better if 30 chimps were given a chance as opposed to humans. If there were ever a movie that should have never seen the light of day, this would be it. If you want a good laugh and can rent it for free, go ahead and waste one and a half hours of your life... If you have something better to do (i.e. getting a root canal, going through an IRS audit or fracturing a large bone), I suggest you do that and wait for this "movie." I would be interested as to how long anyone can watch this movie until reaching a "breaking point" where you just have to turn it off versus facing long term ill psychological effects... As for the person who gave this five stars... I hope they were under the assumption that five meant horrible as to good. Or they are deaf and blind... No other explanation makes any sense... unless it was Michael Madsen rating his own movie...

I expected a brainless action movie with interesting plot twists. Instead was delivered the worst movie I have seen in a long time. The acting was pitiful. The villian was not developed, the cops could only stare and make pronouncements, all the women in the movie had these strange accents and Michael Madsen dropped in as if from Mars. It would have been better delivered as a comedy.

One of the worst I have seen,

I rented it because Michael Madsen was in it. After viewing it, I wish he was not in it. I have enjoyed his acting in other movies and a TV show but in this he ridiculously overacts. I wonder if the rest of the cast broke out in laughter after doing some scenes. Vulgar, poorly acted. Just a poor excuse of filmmaking in every way.

I hesitated to watch this because of the violence, but the movie is absolutely worth watching! Very smart and unexpectant twists in the story, and the longer one follows the story, the more the border between good and evil is vanishing. The situations are believable, no super heroes knowing everything! The single characters are portrayed very convincing, and the end is absolutely fabulous - no I don't tell! Just watch!
I admit, I'm an Arnold-Vosloo-fan, but even without him, this is a movie worth watching! It stood even my non-fan-husband's critics up to 5 stars.

Who the hell green-lighted this thing? Absolutely horrendous. Unless you've got a serious man-crush on the kid from Terminator, there's nothing to see here. The only positive thing in the whole film was how hilariously bad of an actor Michael Madsen is. Still not worth the time I'll never get back.

Living and Dying was filmed in Dallas/Fort Worth. The film abounds with great story, production, audio, sound engineering and fantastic Acting! (D/FW has SKILLS!) Jon Keeyes has outdone himself this time!! The storyline is great... it unfolds with several twists along the way. I've loved Jon's movies in the past such as American Nightmare and Suburban Nightmare, but this could be my favorite!!!! The audio commentary as well as the "Day in the Life of 'Living and Dying'" both added additional insight into the making of the movie, the motivation of the actors and what makes Jon tick!
