5.0 out of 5 stars A superb all-purpose guide, February 9, 2004
This review is from: Living Family History: Creating A Multimedia Biography (Paperback)
Authoritatively written by David A. Beardsley (the founder of BioFiles LLC), Living Family History: Creating A Multimedia Biography is a straightforward and "reader friendly" instructional guide to combining videotape and written memoirs to produce a lasting family record for generations to come. From the right computer and video equipment to use; to the production process; conducting interviews; dealing with recalcitrant family; and a wealth of useful resources, Living Family History is a superb all-purpose guide and a welcome addition to personal, professional, and community library Genealogy Resources & Studies reference collections.

4.0 out of 5 stars A good start, April 1, 2009

This review is from: Living Family History: Creating A Multimedia Biography (Paperback)
Good book to read before you read others and points at groups for additional information.... Like all things today some of the tech data is not up to date but with the new software and digital SLR's with video it is hard to keep up. In spite of that a good place to start
