The book was written for those attending the 1996 Hospice Foundation of America's third annual teleconference. The book is a valuable guide for anyone working the field of death and dying. There is much validity in the work and proves itself as an all in one source for living with grief after sudden loss.

This is a good basic read for people who help others with grief work. It is helpful in its scope and is a good book that covers varied topics concerning grief.

This is a great book and I would highly recommend it to anyone going into counseling and also for some parents who struggle with their child's death.
